Educational Games

When I say that, I mean games which are games and fun to play, but also teach you something along the way.

A good example of this would be the Kerbal Space Program, which caused many people to learn more about physics and rocket science than previously. (I personally couldn't get into KSP, but to each their own)

So I'm trying to gather a list of all the games like KSP with teaching potential and an indicator of what they teach:

Kerbal Space Program - Physics, Rocket Science

Variant: Limits - Calculus

ARTé: Mecenas - Art History

Influent - Languages (Vocabulary)

This list will be updated as more games are found and I plan to do reviews of these games as I play them.

The Birth of Adventure

If you have ever played a role playing game, it might have crossed your mind to try to write something for it. Taking your friends through an area unique to your group is one of the most exciting things you can do and creating special systems and rules which work for it add to the excitement. Unfortunately, creating these takes time and when time waxes, interest wanes. I am telling all you creators out there save your creations! Come back to them every once in a while and give them a little touch up then see if the interest is there.
